Similar to other prestigious nominations, the nomination itself serves as recognition of achievement in its own right. Nominated projects and nominees are allowed to publish the fact that they are in the bid for the World Clean Energy Awards in their publications and websites (e.g. "Nominated for the World Clean Energy Award 2007 in the category of Policy and Lawmaking"). They may use these logos for their marketing purposes.
